ATA Show Announces Six New Award Categories

The 2024 ATA Show will offer attendees the first opportunity of the year to see, touch and test the latest products in the archery and bowhunting industry from January 11-13 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Hundreds of new products are released for the first time at the ATA Show and the ATA’s New Product Launch Showcase will feature those submitted by exhibiting manufacturers, allowing buyers and media to see all the latest innovations in one convenient, high-traffic location. Last year’s New Product Launch Showcase featured more than 120 products. Submissions for the 2024 Show recently opened, and products already entered include treestands, optics, packs and more.

Products submitted for the New Product Launch Showcase are eligible to receive awards voted on by a panel of industry experts. In addition to the gold, silver and bronze Best in Show awards that the ATA has presented in the past, this year will feature the following six new award categories:

  • Best New Bow
  • Best New Broadhead
  • Best New Release
  • Best New Technology
  • Best New Gear
  • Best New Accessory

Award winners will be announced at ATA’s Industry Celebration, presented by Mossy Oak, on January 11. The ATA will also work with the gold, silver and bronze award winners to produce a 90-second video detailing the winning product. The videos will be posted on the ATA’s social media channels and provided to the exhibitor for their own promotional use.

The ATA Show was recognized by Trade Show Executive as one of the 100 largest trade shows in the country in its most recent rankings, and registration for the 2024 event continues to outpace last year's numbers. To register for the exclusive, members-only Show, click here.

If you have questions about the Show or would like to submit a product to the New Product Launch Showcase, please contact Sarah Haala, ATA’s Trade Show Coordinator, at (507) 233-8131 or sarahhaala@archerytrade.org.

Leupold Named Optics Manufacturer of the Year — for the 13th Consecutive Time!

Leupold & Stevens, Inc.was recently recognized as Optics Manufacturer of the Year for the 13th consecutive time by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW).

NASGW is comprised of wholesalers, manufacturers, independent sales reps, media, and service providers – both national and international – all of whom are primarily focused on shooting sports equipment and accessories.

“We are honored to be recognized as ‘Optics Manufacturer of the Year’ by the NASGW and our two-step distribution partners,” said Scott Cain, vice president of global sales for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “We are grateful for the award and the testament it is to the relentless effort and incredible drive of the entire Leupold and Stevens team.”

Candidates for Manufacturer of the Year awards are evaluated by the wholesaler members on four criteria: distribution policy; marketing, sales, and promotion; logistics and operation; and NASGW and industry support. The comprehensive assessment of manufacturer performance is designed to provide a balanced appraisal that recognizes the best of the best, according to NASGW distributor members.

Leupold has won the award 13 consecutive times, each year that it has been presented.
