Levi Morgan Announces Arrow Sponsorship Change

World-renowned archer Levi Morgan is making a switch from Gold Tip to Altra Arrows, bringing an end to his longest sponsorship.

Levi Morgan Announces Arrow Sponsorship Change

Gold Tip recently published a press release celebrating its remarkable 17-year partnership with archery legend Levi Morgan.

“We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Levi for 17 incredible years of partnership,” said Jason Harris, director of product and marketing for Gold Tip. “Levi has been an integral part of the Gold Tip family, and we are immensely proud of the accomplishments we shared. As he starts on a new endeavor, we wish him continued success. Gold Tip remains committed to innovation, quality and supporting the archery community. Our team of skilled archers is poised for a triumphant 2024 season, and we look forward to continued success and growth.”

Throughout one of the industry’s longest partnerships, Gold Tip has witnessed Morgan’s achievements, from championship victories to record-breaking performances. While a member of Team Gold Tip, Morgan accumulated 60 national titles, 16 World Championships, 13 ASA Shooter of the Year awards and 12 Triple Crowns, all while elevating Gold Tip’s standing as a premier brand in the industry.

“My relationship with Gold Tip started in 2006 during my first year as a pro,” said Morgan. “I loved the product and the people when I started and that will never change. This was my first and longest sponsorship and even through all my wins, I never seriously considered shooting another arrow. Gold Tip was there with me on my path to the podium and helped with the launch of my show. And while all relationships will change, our mutual admiration never will. We’ll always be proud to have been a part of each other’s amazing journeys.”

Morgan Joins Altra Arrows Pro Staff

Shortly after the press release from Gold Tip was released, news came that Morgan was joining the Altra Arrows pro staff.

“The consistency and dependability of Altra Arrows, along with the enormous potential for growth were the deciding factors when making the move from my previous arrow company — a decision that I did not take lightly but had great confidence in,” said Morgan. “It was time to make a change, and I know from experience that I have to shoot the best or I’m not setting myself up for success — there is no question that Altra Arrows will move the needle, and I’m already super impressed with how the platform is performing for me.”

Morgan intends to shoot Altra Arrows’ Centrum Premier 27 for the tournament season, which begins at the 2024 Lancaster Archery Classic, quickly followed by The Vegas Shoot. In parallel, he plans to outfit his hunting rig with the Centrum Premier 166, in anticipation of upcoming pursuits.

In addition to Morgan, Altra Arrows recently signed ASA and IBO career champions Darrin Christenberry and Nathan Brooks, along with Jase Boils, Lane Brandt, Glen Meadows, Nate Adkins, Derek Connally, Eric Jenkins, Aaron Shaw, and Logan and Stephen Altizer onto the growing pro staff. These shooters and more are competing for Altra Arrow’s expansive contingency program, which has the capacity to pay out more than $60,000 in winnings across archery disciplines and classes in 2024.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Levi onto the Altra Arrows team, not only for what his bowhunting and target shooting dominance lends to the brand, but for the unmatched expertise he brings to the table — which will undoubtedly help us grow Altra into a powerhouse name,” said Josh Sidebottom, Altra Arrows/The Outdoor Group chief operating officer. “We couldn’t be more grateful to Levi and our growing pro staff, which represent more than 100 years of combined archery experience, for their support and dedication to help take Altra Arrows to the next level.”
