Remi Warren Named as Featured Speaker for 2020 Pope and Young Convention

The Pope and Young Club recently announced Remi Warren as a featured speaker for the annual convention in Chantilly, Virginia, March 26-28, 2020. Warren joins country musician and hunter Nick Hoffman, host of the popular show, “Nick’s Wild Ride,” as featured speakers.

Warren has worked as a hunting guide, outfitter, outdoor writer, photographer, videographer and TV personality. As host of the television series, “Apex Predator,” Warren studied the uniqueness of a single animal. As co-host of “Solo Hunters” on the Outdoor Channel, Warren heads into the mountains and films his hunts alone, playing the role of hunter, cameraman, producer and adventurer simultaneously. When not guiding or filming, he works as a field editor for Western Hunter Magazine, sharing hunting tips and tricks. You may also catch him on Joe Rogan’s podcast or episodes of MeatEater TV, hunting alongside his friend Steven Rinella, traveling across the globe, harvesting and preparing wild meat along the way.

“I am really excited to be heading to Virginia to speak at the 2020 Pope and Young Club National Convention,” Warren said. “It is great to have the opportunity to talk to so many hunters who share my same passion for bowhunting, fair chase, and the role we as hunters play in wildlife conservation. The Pope and Young Club is one of the largest organizations supporting our bowhunting heritage, and I am looking forward to the events planned around this year’s convention.”

Warren has been hunting his entire life and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and adventures with others. From a very young age, he took to the mountains learning the land and the animals in it. He constantly pushed himself in the field to be the best he could be, and he learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way — often through trial and error. At the age of 22, he opened Montana OutWest Outfitters in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, specializing in elk and deer hunts on public land. Later, he expanded his operation by booking hunts in New Zealand and Africa.
