All using Easton X10 arrows at the 2021 Lausanne World Cup event, recurve shooter Brady Ellison (above) of the USA took the individual men’s gold medal over Germany’s Max Weckmuller, while Russia’s Svetlana Gomboeva took women’s individual gold in recurve over teammate Ksenia Perova. The German men’s recurve team took the team gold over Spain while Italy’s women’s recurve team took the gold versus Mexico in their category.

In the highly competitive mixed team recurve competition, seen as a bellwether for the debut of the event at the Tokyo Olympic Games in July 2021, the Netherlands team of Sjef van den Berg and Gabriela Schloesser took gold over Diya Siddique and Muhammed Ruman Shana of Bangladesh in the finals.

In the previous day’s compound bow finals competition, Team Easton’s Mike “Mister Perfect” Schloesser (below) shot a near-perfect score of 149/150 to take individual gold, while Linda Ochoa-Anderson and Savannah Vanderweir helped lead the USA women’s team to the gold medal over Russia, which included Anna Cherkzhova and Viktoria Balzhanova. Mike Schloesser and teammate Jody Vermeulen also took the mixed team gold for the Netherlands.

The men’s team of Turkey, including Even Cagiran and Yakut Yildiz, won men’s compound team gold vs the Netherlands team which included Mike Schloesser and Sil Pater.
