Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow

Unlike any crossbow introduced previously, the Excalibur TwinStrike is the first one with the ability to fire two arrows in milliseconds. The bow’s DualFire technology allows a bowhunter to carry two arrows locked and loaded. This means if your first arrow deflects off a branch, or you simply misjudge the range and miss an animal, you can follow up with a second arrow immediately. Of course, if you hunt in an area with multiple deer tags, you have the chance to harvest a second animalwithout the need for recocking the bow.

The Excalibur TwinStrike sends arrows downrange at 360 fps. It has a Two-Trigger Platform (below), meaning double, independent 4-pound frictionless triggers. The front trigger fires the top rail, the back trigger fires the bottom rail. The company says the TwinStrike is set up for arrows from the top and bottom rail to hit in the same spot at 50 yards.

CeaseFire Technology ensures that the TwinStrike won’t fire unless an arrow is loaded, and it works in conjunction with Excalibur’s new Rhino Nock. The bow’s Over/Under Rail System results in a compact setup with great balance; in fact, the bow weighs only 7.75 pounds. With an overall length of 33.375 inches, the TwinStrike has a draw weight of 358 pounds (requires only 14 pounds of cocking effort), draw length of 14.125 inches, and measures 25.25 inches wide when decocked and 21.125 inches when ready to fire.

The package includes the company’s new Rebolt Quiver and Overwatch Illuminated Scope, as well as the Charger EXT/Fail Safe Strap and Silent Crank, DualFire Decocking Aid, four Quill Arrows with Rhino Nocks, and four 100-grain field points.
