Team Mathews claimed six podium spots across three pro divisions at the recent ASA Pro/Am in Paris, Texas. Mathews shooters won first and second place in Men's Open Pro and swept the podium in the Women's Open Pro Division.

Dan McCarthy took first place in the Men's Open Pro Division scoring 510 with a total of 16 twelve rings for the weekend. “The TRX38 felt awesome and performed flawlessly,” said McCarthy. Teammate Levi Morgan came in second scoring 503 with 17 twelve rings with his TRX38.

“What an amazing weekend for our team,” said Mathews Pro Staff Manager Derek Phillips. “McCarthy shot great for his second win in a row, and our ladies continued their hot streak with their third straight sweep.”

In addition to taking the top two spots in the Men's Open Pro Division, Team Mathews also swept the Women’s Pro Division taking all three podium spots. Sharon Wallace captured first place, while Emily McCarthy and Erin McGladdrey finished second and third. The final podium spot for Team Mathews in Paris, Texas, went to Dominic DeMichele, who took third place in Men’s Senior Pro Division.

ASA Pro Division competitors shoot two rounds of 20 targets from unmarked distances. These targets vary in distance up to 50 yards, and the five highest scores from the first two rounds qualify for the shoot down to decide the winner.
